This dress is EASLIY my favorite dress of the season; saying I have worn it ten times already is not an exaggeration. From the cut to the pattern, I love everything about this piece. It is so flattering for a hippy/curvier body type like mine. I paired it with a simple pair of sandals (which I have a $25 dupe for: view the post here or go to them directly from the link at the top of this post)

I sported a navy Chanel flap bag and blue Hermes enamel bracelet to bring out the blue in the pattern of this dress.

I have made a few tweaks and changes to my modified makeup routine since the start of the season. For speed and blendibility, I have been loving this Bobbi Brown foundation stick (in the shade Warm Honey). They are so creamy which is my main reason for loving them. In the summertime surface of my skin is usually so dry and flakey from the sun, that trying to blend any makeup over it only irritates it and raises the skin more. Since this foundation is so creamy, it blends right over with little effort and covers my imperfections flawlessly. Concealer wise I have still been using the Anastasia Beverly Hills foundation stick in the shade banana. Yes, this is a concealer, but they still call it a foundation stick lol. To keep things simple, I have been setting my undereye and doing my bronzer with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit. I use the banana powder shade to obviously match my concealer and I have been loving the middle cool tone shade as my bronzer. As for my eyes, I have simply been blending a little bit of that same bronzer shade into my crease and sticking with my usual Brow Wiz in the shade Eboney and the L’ Oreal mascara that I raved about in my July Favorites Video. The rest of my face pretty much varies by the day. Today I used the Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush and one of my favorite lipsticks ever, MAC Cosmetics, Relentlessly Red to complement those warm blush tones.

If you’re wondering how my hair sprouted two feet over night; I got clip in extensions and I will be doing a post devoted to them specifically!!!
